Commissions
Have you seen my Instagram? Do you want a personal piece? I do take commissions!
Before you consider commissioning me, PLEASE look through my commission information. I will ignore requests that show disregard for the information provided on my page.
Note: All drawings are 3k x 3x pixels in size, and 132dpi (dots per inch).

SKETCH

Details: Pencil lined drawing of your requested piece. These require drawing the “bones” of the piece before a sketch can be done.
I do my best to make sure my sketches are not “rough” and can be viewed clearly, with as much detail as possible.

LINE ART
​
Details:
Smoothly lined drawing of your requested piece in pen. These require drawing the “bones” of the piece, and a pencil sketch, before the line art can be done.
Even though I work in thin pen, I do my best to make sure every line is smooth and unbroken. Each line is a single stroke, and I tend to redo a line over and over until it looks nice and refined.

FULL PAINTING
​
Details:
Complete painting of your requested piece. These require drawing the “bones” of the piece, a sketch, and penned line art, before the piece can be painted, shaded, and textured.
This is the most detailed tier, and I do my best to properly shade the nooks and crannies, as well as add natural looking textures to skin, and apply a “fluffy watercolor” texture to the rest of the image. I can also include my signature “sparkles” around and on the painting.

CHIBI (Miniature)
​
Details:
Miniature version of your character done in mid-thickness pen, and in full color.
Chibis are a lot of fun to do. Even though they are small, they still require all steps in the process (bones, sketch, line art, and color).

General Terms
Please provide examples and references of what you would like in order to receive the best results. Use your best judgement when selecting me to draw your piece, based on what you’ve seen me do well. My Instagram
Payment
I require at least half of payment before starting on your commission, and the second half after you review and confirm the preview of the sketch.
I only take $USD via Paypal and Facebook.
If you use another currency, please make sure to convert it into USD before paying.
Timing
Commissions take between 1 week to a month depending on the current workload, as well as external life factors.
Factors include:

The order of which I receive commissions.

The complexity or style of your order/character.

The quantity of commissions that you order.

Personal delays.
If something comes up, and I cannot get your commission to you on time, I will reach out to you.
Changes
I will be sending samples of each stage in order for you to review. During these stages, you may let me know if something isn’t to your liking, and I will do my best to fix it for you.
These stages are:

Base Color.
After approving the base color stage, I will not be making any more changes to the piece.
Copyright & Usage Policy
I, the artist, hold all copyright to the produced artwork, not the commissioner, unless otherwise stated. The commission is only to be used by myself and the commissioner.
Therefore, I am allowed by law:

To reproduce the work in copies or photo records;

To prepare derivative works based upon the work;
In addition to copyright, certain authors of works of visual art also have the rights of attribution and integrity as described in section 106A of the 1976 Copyright Act.
It is illegal for anyone to violate any of the rights provided by the copyright law to the copyright holder.

For non-commercial commissions, I grant the client an Exclusive license, with modification rights. You have the perpetual and worldwide right and license to use, distribute, reproduce, adapt, modify and display the final work so long as no profit is made from the work, and proper credit is given to the artist (me). Credit includes linking to my social media page. If the final work is distributed in print form, please credit me: Instagram.com/MoonlightKCreations
I have the right to post your commission online to promote myself/my art. However, I will always properly credit the commissioner for their character.
If you want your commission to be private (sent directly to you and not posted anywhere) I will charge a 25% privacy fee.
The following is considered copyright infringement:

Reproducing/using my artwork commercially (making money off of it by any means)

Taking credit for my artwork

Removing my watermarks/signature
Cancellation / Refund
If you’d like to cancel your commission, please email me.
Any commission cancelled by me is guaranteed a full refund.
Any commission cancelled after I have begun working does not qualify for a refund.
Refunds are given if either:

I am unable to complete your commission for any given reason.

I have not yet begun your commission, and you have requested a refund.
Any refund given will not include any paypal processing fees.
What I will not draw
If it’s not on the list, and you’re curious about your request, please ask! I’m not perfect, so I obviously can’t draw everything under the sun. But I also ask for you to use your best judgement. Take a look at my Instagram and see what I CAN do, and then decide if I’m the right person to commission for your specific needs.
